I've been to scared to eat clam chowder since I was a kid....I almost ate my 70 yr old mother's dinner (which was clam chowder, New England). Their seafood is so fresh that you can hardly tell it's a seafood diner. French fries are scrumptious. Great, affordable seafood place!

Restaurant is nothing fancy and that is okay. Food was good, came out quickly and was hot.

It is an order at counter restaurant. The food is good. My husband had fish and chips and I had fried scallops. The scallops were done warm though, not overcooked. As all good fresh seafood restaurants it is pricey. Lunch for 2 today was $35. We'd go again.

Fast service for a place with the line out the door. Crab roll was good, a little pricey for a small - a hot dog roll portion- but that and sides/apps were delicious. Will be back to try their chowder during “colder” months

Doug's is extremely popular; no doubt. I stood in line for 20 minutes (at least) to order and then waited for the food to be prepared. With limited table space and me being there single, I took the food as take away. Picked up a drink at a local place and found some shade to eat under. First thought: I was underwhelmed at the size of the portions relative to the price. We have a similar New England style place in Ft. Lauderdale that supplies quite a bit more food for half the price of Doug's. Quality: again, rather underwhelmed. The scallops were nice size but the breading wasn't particularly good and the scallops where a bit on the undercooked side. The grouper was ok, but not outstanding.

Great lobster rolls. Easily on par with what I've gotten in Boston but more generous portions at Doug's.

While the food was decent for the price, the place was more a cafeteria where you order your food and then get a table, rather than a regular restaurant.

Love this place... both restaurant and the market! It's a little pricey, but if you consider the quality you're getting, it's well worth it. Best seafood going!! 😉😁

Food is hot. Chowder is amazing but the Bisque is to die for! Order at the window, they will assign you a table. The longest wait was for the food to cool off enough to eat!

Pricey but very good. I've had way better at significantly less price.

Best lobster rolls!! Their New England clam chowder was excellent also. We will be back.

What a great meal my wife and I had. I loved the Manhattan Clam Chowder, she loved the Lobster Bisque !! We shared the Captains platter and they were crowded with it being the Holidays and in this area it's the "Season". Even with that, it wasn't a very long wait !!! Super service and great food. Will go back.Also, the have a connected "fish market" right next door. You will see it in the pics I posted.

Eh. Lobster roll really sucked. Not worth the money. Same with shrimp roll. Fries were only good thing

We are new to the area and just stumbled upon this hidden gem. Adorable, casual and delicious. Quick service and clean. Next door you can purchase seafood to make at home on your own if you like to cook. The lobster bisque had a lot of lobster pieces inside. The clam strips were great too. We will definitely return.

Had the Cod basket as well as the New England Clam chowder and all was some of the best we've had in Naples! Three Large pieces of cod with lots of fries! Chowder was filled with clam pieces, thick and creamy! Prices are very reasonable compared to all the other large seafood restaurants in the area. Try it out, you'll love it!

My wife and i came to Doug’s for lunch yesterday ordered a lobster roll and lobster bisque soup. The so called lobster roll came on a hot dog bun that was barely Toasted/grilled. Really ? $16.95 for a hot dog bun ? Very poor they should google how to make lobster rolls.Lobster bisque soup very tasty and crunchy, Crunchy? Yes, had pieces of lobster shell in it. Spit it out on my paper towel napkin to find red pieces of shell, disgusting, i should have thrown it back.never again.

We discovered this gem of a no-frills seafood restaurant. We had the fried clam strips and onion rings which were mouth watering. Can't wait to go back!

This place truly is delicious and reminds me of my hometown in Connecticut. Unfortunately their portions are kinda skimpy, especially for the price.

Great seafood some of the I have had since moving to Florida. I had the captains platter and would highly recommend it.

The place was very busy, but the service was great. The food came out quickly and was served hot. We had ne clam chowder that was delicious and fish and chips with the cod. Also nice and hot. Even though they were so busy the place was spotless and the help were friendly. We will go back.

First lobster roll I've ever had. No idea how it compares. The new England clam chowder was great vs the many variations I've ever had. It needed some salt and pepper but was amazing. Next visit in shipping the lobster roll and getting the Chowwwwda

The crusty crab sandwich is to die for. They also have an amazing fresh fish market.

The food was terrific! With all the New England license plates in the parking lot you know their lobster rolls are the real deal! The cole slaw was fresh & perfectly crunchy. French fries were spot on ... Halibut bites scrumptious and cod dinner was delicious as well. Totally casual. Stand in line to place your order then they'll bring you your meal to the table.Can't wait to return!

Tucked away in a strip mall. Super fresh seafood cooked to perfection. Fried, grilled, sauteed. Excellent Cole slaw or potato salad or fries or delectable fried zucchini chips. Eat in or takeout. Plus a seafood store to pick fresh fish etc to bring home for your own recipe. They also sell at farmers markets. Saw them at the Promenade and SanibelFair pricing. Great value.

You won't leave hungry. Food coma here I come....lol

Amazing food. You know it's good when there is a line standing outside of the restaurant to place an order. I look forward to eating here Everytime I come down. 1 taco and a lobster bisque is plenty for a meal!

I've only purchased seafood from here, so no comments on the restaurant. This place is my favorite sea food company. I don't even consider another when planning a special meal. Do yourself a favor a mark it as a favorite.

Wicked f-ing phenomenal Seafood Spot on Bonita Beach Rd. Being going for years when I get that craving for an old school seafood shack meal and it is always on point... I am reviewing tonight because of how awesome the people are here at Doug's.. The crew who runs the show are awesome and deserve some internet google review love. More stars if I could give em!

We just ate here after hearing rave reviews but aren’t sure what all the hype was about. We got a a lobster roll that was good but the portion for $27 was ridiculous. We also got 6 tacos and each taco had a single small piece of fish which would be fine except there was nothing else. No sauce, nothing. Thankfully we took it home and could add our own condiments but for $8 a taco I’d like a little something. By the time we got home the shrimp wrap was so soggy we couldn’t lift it. Would not come in again and would not recommend.

The market has soft shell steamer clams, about $8 for a big serving, and pink shrimp off the boat , iced but not frozen. They taste like lobster tails

Try the lobster roll!! No fillers. Great taste and reasonable price. Fresh. Just delicious.. My number one Bonita Springs take-out. Also check out their seafood-fish market. Service is excellent. Sides are also worth mentioning. I love good Cole slaw and Doug's has it. Doug's IS "Wicked good!!"

Oh my God!! If you're looking for QUALITY FRESH seafood look no further. Doug's has in my opinion super FRESH seafood. Staff is friendly, rustic setting.

A lot of New England atmosphere in Bonita Springs. Doug's Seafood Restaurant is not fancy, but the ample-sized servings of seafood are terrific, cooked well, served very quickly, If you're from Maine, you'll feel right at home. If you're familiar with Woodman's in Essex, MA, you'll feel like you never left home. The restaurant is in a small strip mall with easy access from Hwy 41. The staff is friendly and efficient. There's also a well stocked seafood market attached. They're motto is "We're not perfect, but we're Wicked Good!" Go to Doug's for good seafood. You'll be happy you did.'

Lobster rolls fair, not Reds Eats. Bisk is cheese wiz plus lob bits. Not close to genuine

Recent renovations have made such a difference in the ambience of Doug's. Same great lobster rolls, just like Maine! Missed saying hello to Doug but where is our favorite quarterback picture?!!! See you soon

Some of the best seafood in Bonita Springs and Naples Area! It's also not expensive! The Lobster Roll is superb both varieties and the fried seafood is just great! The menu itself is a nice size! This place e is a Gem, one of the places you think from the outside is just gonna be ok but then you walk in greeted by smiling faces and the smell of delicious food and a nice atmosphere. The restaurant is very clean and the staff was very helpful. This was our first of many times to come! Bring your family there is something for everyone on the menu here! For sheer Wow factor alone plus great food, Doug's Seafood gets an A+ from me.

Best seafood we've had on vacation! New England Clam Chowder, shrimp taco, fried clams, and homemade fried onion rings. We're going to try and stop by one more time.... that lobster roll looked crazy wicked!

It wasnt super kid friendly. How to order your food wasnt super easy to do. We wound up not eating there.

Wow this place is a hidden GEM!! My hubby brought me home some Manhattan clam chowder the other day...little backdrop...I only like Manhattan clam chowder and I am very very picky about how its made... this place makes it perfect...today we decided to come and eat here and it really is this little hidden place in a strip mall...we ordered both styles of clam chowder...my hubby say the NE kind is authentic and creamy as well as being thick and having clam in each bite...and the Manhattan style is scrumptious its clammy and tomato-y and perfectly seasoned and they serve it with the best oyster crackers...their menu has a bunch of stuff including tacos and rolls...but dont just take my word for it come and see for yourself!!! Oh and the staff is pretty friendly as well...also the soups are filled to the brim!!! Some of the prices are expensive but most are reasonable...oh and they have an everyday fish and chips special for $10.95...SO COME ON DOWN AND ENJOY!!!

Real Maine seafood. Lightly battered and properly fried. If you are from New England and have been to the red wing in Walpole or Bob's in kittery or any other the other great places you will feel right at home here!
